The Thames River Yacht Club has a strong racing league with Thursday night club racing as well as several weekend Regattas all set up in a family friendly environment. Currently the club uses PHRF rating for start times which allows any boat to be competitive. We welcome all boats from TRYC and boats from any other clubs or marinas to come have a blast racing with us.

They say an hour of racing will teach you more than a whole weekend of plain old sailing and the Thames River Yacht Club is proud to welcome would be sailors to come crew on the race boats with us. Good crew is hard to find and someone who will show up every week all summer long is a big advantage for a race captain. If you’d like to crew, please contact us. A crewing membership is required in order to participate as racing crew.
